Adopt a Flower Bed

After reviewing student input, TAMC has found that students want to see the currently neglected flowerbeds around campus fixed up to make our campus look nicer.  We are taking the necessary steps to set up a program to allow student organizations to adopt a neglected flower bed around campus and take care of them.  This will not only beautify our campus by allocating responsibility to maintain flowerbeds, but it will also be a new way to promote an organization, as the organizations will be able to post information on their flowerbeds. Maintaining a flowerbed will be relatively inexpensive and once the initial planting is completed, it will not require much time to keep up.  We are in the process of drafting a proposal to submit to the SGA and appropriate authorities, and we hope to have the project up and running by the beginning of the fall semester.
