History of TAMC

Texas Aggies Making Changes was founded in the Fall of 1996 through Senate Bill number 19. Since its initiation, TAMC has continually strived to solve students' concerns about campus life. In 1997, the Borrow-A-Bike Program was created through S. B. 97(S)2 to address bike transportation concerns, which has split off into the Bike Safe organization. In 1998, TAMC founded the Lupe Medina Drowsy Driving Program through S. B. 98(F)1. In 2009, the Adopt-A-Flowerbed Project was started in order to address student input regarding neglected flowerbeds. We are a student instigated committee driven by student suggestions and on-campus needs. We participate in community service projects hosted by SGA and other organizations.
